Bobby Notkoff

Bobby Notkoff is a violinist who played with The Rockets[1] in the 1960s and Family Lotus in the 1970s. He was a founding member of Electric Flag, one of the first supergroups, with Mike Bloomfield and Buddy Miles.

He lives in New Mexico.

Bobby Notkoff used to perform with the L>a. Philharmonic.  Some said he sounded like Paginin.  

He told fellow band members, there are only eight notes. Notkoff performed violin on the song "Running Dry" (Requiem for the Rockets), which appeared on Neil Young's "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere".
